  • Program and portfolio data created within the add-on

  • User authentication tokens and session information from Atlassian Jira

Technical Data:

  • Application logs for debugging and performance monitoring

Data Usage

The collected data is used exclusively for:

  • Rendering and managing Gantt chart visualizations within Jira

  • Storing user configurations, program structure, and schedule data in Microsoft SQL database

  • Validating secure communication between the Crystal Gantt Pro application and Jira

  • Providing reliable add-on functionality and resolving technical issues

  • Monitoring application performance and security

  • Supporting compliance and audit requirements

Data Sharing

Data sharing is limited and controlled:

  • Atlassian/Jira: Jira issue data is processed through standard Atlassian Connect authentication and is not exported outside the integration

  • Database Infrastructure: Data is stored in the configured Microsoft SQL database (typically Azure SQL when deployed on Azure)

  • No Third-Party Sale: Personal information and organizational data are never sold, traded, or transferred to external parties without explicit consent

  • Compliance Requirements: Data may be disclosed only when legally required by applicable laws or regulations

Data Storage and Retention

  • Location: Data is stored in the configured database backend, typically Microsoft SQL Server in Azure regions selected by the organization

  • Retention: Program data and configurations are retained as long as the Jira instance uses Crystal Gantt Pro, or until explicitly deleted by administrators

  • Deletion: Users and administrators may request data deletion; such requests are processed according to organizational policies and applicable regulations

User Rights

Users and organizations have the right to:

  • Access and review personal and organizational data processed by the add-on

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of data (subject to organizational retention policies)

  • Data portability in standard formats where applicable
